Donor Relations Officer - Development
Full-Time. The primary responsibility of this position is to cultivate, solicit and steward gifts from current major donors and to identify prospects for major gifts and develop them into major donors. Officer is responsible for portfolio of donors who give a minimum of $2,000 or more each year. Emphasis is placed upon personal contact with donors through visits, tours, phone calls, email, and personal correspondence. This position is regularly and customarily engaged away from the office for the purpose of selling the image and cause of the Mission to the public. Job requires at least 80% of time to be spent on high donor contact: cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience required. Minimum of two years of major donor experience required. Equivalent years of transferrable sales experience may be considered.
