Employment Opportunities

We provide a doorway to hope, freedom and fullness of life for addicted, broken homeless men, women and children and for vulnerable urban youth in our community. We do this in the name of Jesus Christ.

As an employee of the Mission, you are helping to provide hope to our community. We offer many unique benefits such as a Good Friday Service and opportunities to volunteer in one of 27 program and support services. We also offer a variety of benefits including vacation, sick leave, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Part-time, regular. This position supervises the activities and areas of the Men’s Shelter’s Guest Services program, and those engaged therein. The Guest Services Specialist will uphold the Mission/Vision of Guest Services by: being an imitator of Jesus Christ and representative of the MS to all clients of the Men’s Shelter, performing as a God-honoring steward of Mission property, and as a monitor of client activity while on Mission property. Oversee customer service function at Hope Place, including Front Desk Reception to guests, staff, visitors, donors. Oversee the administrative and clerical support function for Hope Place Leadership. Directly supervise the evening operations coordinators for Hope Place. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Clerical and reception experience required, supervisory experience preferred.
